An established and highly regarded skilled services firm (legal) is seeking a Trust Accounts Officer to join their Melbourne office on a 12-month contract.
n
Working in a close knit trust accounting team, you'll play a key role in the administration of trust monies, ensuring compliance, accuracy and exceptional service across a diverse portfolio.
n
This chance would suit someone with previous trust accounting experience or a strong
bookkeeping/accounts
background looking to further develop their expertise within a professional services setting.

Key Responsibilities
n

Processing trust receipts and payments
n
Bank reconciliations
n
Managing controlled monies and trust accounts
n
Opening and closing trust bank accounts
n
Processing trust-to-office transfers
n
Maintaining trust records and registers
n
Preparing client trust statements
n
General trust accounting administration and support
n
Assisting the wider finance function as required
n

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Previous experience in trust accounting, bookkeeping or accounts administration
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong organisational and administrative skills
n
The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
