Our client, a global bank, is seeking a motivatedFinance Analyst to join their Finance & Administration department. This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain broad exposure across month-end close, regulatory and Head Office reporting support, accounts payable, and cross-functional finance projects within a global banking environment.

About the Role

Reporting into the Finance team, you will support the month-end close process, assist with reconciliations and reporting working files, maintain financial data, and contribute to process improvement and ad hoc projects across the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Support month-end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and assist with daily reconciliations and checks
- Prepare working files to support regulatory and Head Office reporting
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
- Assist with processing invoices and reconciling vendor accounts
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes




- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
- Participate in process efficiency reviews and ad hoc projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support budgeting processes through data gathering and analysis
- Assist in preparing information for internal and external audits

About You

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA a plus)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

This is a well-paying 12-month contract position, paying up to 130k Including super, depending onprior experience.
