The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Estimator Compliance Manager to join our national operations team. This is a role based from your closest office - Mascot (NSW), Kiama (NSW), Pinkenba (QLD), Mulgrave (VIC), or Canberra (ACT).

As Nexus Project Group continues to grow, we’re expanding our national team. In this key technical role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing assessment reports and scopes of work (SOWs) to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal standards, insurer requirements, and industry regulations. You’ll also play a valuable role in supporting the professional development of our estimating team by providing constructive feedback and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you’ll assist with occasional site assessments during peak periods to help maintain quality at the source.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Reviewing assessment reports and SOWs to ensure they meet company, insurer, and legislative standards
- Providing constructive, practical feedback to estimators to support their development, both in the office and in the field.
- Monitoring and logging compliance trends and contributing to internal reporting




- Supporting the team by identifying training opportunities and participating in improvement initiatives
- Attending site visits during busy periods to assist with assessments and maintain compliance focus
- Ensuring documentation and reporting are audit-ready at all times
- Keeping up to date with building code changes, insurer PDS updates, and industry requirements

What We’re Looking For

- Five or more years of proven experience as either an insurance building estimator or in a peer review/report auditing role, ideally within the insurance or construction industries
- Solid knowledge of building codes, insurer PDS requirements, and industry standards
- High attention to detail with a structured, process-driven approach
- Ability to provide clear, constructive technical feedback to support quality improvement
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a national team
- Proficiency in project management systems such as Prime and insurer/client portals
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site assessments or team collaboration
