Receptionist/AdministrationAssistant (Child Protection/Family Law)
A small boutique, busy, city-based Children's Court/Family Law practice is seeking an experienced receptionist on a full-time basis.
The firm specialises in Child Protection and Family Law matters, with a large client base of legally aided clients.
Key responsibilities
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
Responding to and processing emails in a timely and professional manner
Creating and maintaining client files
Diary management
Liaising with clients
General administrative tasks as required
This role offers an excellent prospect for someone looking to develop their career while gaining valuable, hands-on, on-the-ground experience.




This role is not suited to law students seeking administrative experience as a pathway into a legal career.
About you
Prior experience working in administration
Experience working in a quick paced and demanding environment
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
High degree of attention to detail
Excellent planning and organisation skills while being extremely adaptable
The ability to work autonomously and in a team
Prior experience in Family Law and Child Protection law is desired
Experience with legal software systems is advantageous
