About the role

Reporting to the CEO and Group CFO you will be part of a small management team. This role will manage the organisation's financial operations and provide accurate, timely reporting to the Executive Leadership Team. You will also be expected to develop a strong understanding of all facets of the business and provide coverage for the Chief Operations Officer and Licencing & Export Officer when required. The commencement date will be Monday, the 4th of January 2027.

Key responsibilities

Be responsible for all financial and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, banking and balance sheet reconciliations.

Attend to customer invoicing (not a large number of customers, largely export).

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (including covenant reporting to financiers).

Complete annual budgets and quarterly reforecasting (ad hoc if needed).

Co-ordinate financial audit requirements as needed.

Management of cashflow.

Oversee payroll governance and ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislative obligations.





Complete statutory reporting obligations, including BAS, PAYG, superannuation, FBT, STP and WorkCover.

Work with external accountants to administer the corporate structure.

Act as delegate for the Operations Manager and Licensing & Export Officer from time to time (leave cover).

About you

CPA or CA qualification.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.

Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Xero (including profit centre accounting).

High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
