About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Store Manager to join our team at our Kingswood NSW location on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our automotive retail store, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and profitability. This is a strategic position that directly impacts our customer experience, staff performance, and business success. You will lead a dynamic team whilst managing inventory, sales, customer relations, and day-to-day store operations.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and daily administrative tasks
- Lead, mentor, and manage the store team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators whilst maintaining profitability and cost control
- Manage inventory of tyres, mechanical parts, and related products,



ensuring appropriate stock levels and reducing waste
- Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction, responding to customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, workplace policies, and relevant automotive industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to support business growth
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate
- Coordinate with the mechanical team to ensure seamless integration between retail and service operations
- Implement and maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean, organised, and qualified environment

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in a store management or supervisory role within the automotive, retail, or related trades environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Demonstrated sales acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences




- Knowledge of automotive products, tyres, and mechanical services is highly desirable
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and general computer literacy
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Sound financial management abilities, including budget planning and cost control
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and willingness to undertake relevant training or certifications as required
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekend or after-hours availability when needed
