Rockhampton Hospitalis a 305-bed major referral hospital for Central Queensland, providing state-of-the-art specialist and integrated cancer care.

About the role

- Be the voice of the hospital . Answer calls professionally, connect people to the right place and keep things moving smoothly.
- Keep everyone connected . Manage pagers, communication systems and staff updates so the right people get the right message at the right time.




- Stay calm when it counts . Quickly recognise emergencies, activate the correct response and follow hospital protocols like a pro.
- Keep things running behind the scenes . Coordinate after-hours travel and accommodation, update records, support admin tasks and use initiative to keep the shift on track.

About you

- Use your judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills, especially when things get busy or unexpected.
- Communicate confidently with everyone from patients and visitors to staff and departments, building great working relationships along the way.
- Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to keep information accurate and up to date.
- Share information, lend a hand and help create a supportive, collaborative team environment.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $31,808 p.a. is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $41.17 - $45.79 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
