What’s the role?

Looking for a role where you can build relationships, support local businesses, and make an impact in your community?

As a Local Business Banker, you'll work closely with small business customers across Gladstone and the surrounding region, providing Home Lending and Business Lending solutions that help them achieve their ambitions. You'll build trusted relationships, work alongside referral partners and banking channels, and identify new opportunities to grow and strengthen your customer portfolio.

You’ll be embedded in the local community, building networks and creating meaningful connections that help customers succeed. New starters will benefit from Westpac's Role Ready program, an accelerated onboarding experience designed to build confidence and capability from day one.

This is a full time role based in Gladstone.

What do I need?

- Background in Small Business Banking and Home Lending
- Demonstrated ability to generate current business opportunities within financial services and local markets
- Strong relationship building and networking capabilities
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences




- Strong organisational skills and commercial acumen with the ability to work independently
