Speech Pathologist - Teenage and Young Adult population

Helping teenagers and young adults connect with each other and their community.

The Social Gym is a neuro affirming Speech Pathology service for teenagers and young adults with a focus on social engagement and interaction. Our clinic is purpose built to provide teenagers with a young, fun space to connect and build their social network. We have robust relationships with a number of schools in the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and North Shore and also have a growing young adult network. We are passionate about empowering young people to develop independence and connect with the social world around them.

About the role:

You will be working with teenagers and young adults on their individual goals with a large focus on social engagement and interaction. This will include:

Collaborating with and empowering teenagers, young adults and their support networks to develop individual goals that are realistic, relevant and motivating to improve their independence and connection with likeminded peers

Delivering high quality Speech Pathology services in school and community settings with a focus on social engagement and connection





Run engaging and innovative interest based Social Groups and Holiday Programs for school aged students and young adults

You are required to be a member of Speech Pathology Australia and have at least 1 year experience in the profession .
