We have an opportunity for an Accountant or experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at our office in the Southern Highlands, NSW. This full or part-time role will see you providing high-quality client focused accounting services to a diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, Self-Managed Superfunds and business clients
- Providing taxation planning, small business advice and strategic guidance
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial needs and objectives
- Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

What we're looking for

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 1-5 years' experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper,



preferably in a public practice environment
- An understanding of relevant Australian tax legislation and regulations such as CGT, GCT and BAS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work on a timely basis
- Competency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL and Handisoft
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
