We’re now ready to take our Coffee Bar to new heights, and we’re looking for a passionate, experienced leader to help drive the next chapter.

This isn’t just about running a café. It’s about creating a welcoming destination where the community gathers, where coffee lovers discover their next favourite brew, and where your leadership directly shapes the experience of hundreds of guests each week.

As Café Manager , you’ll oversee all operational aspects of our Warburton coffee bar, leading the team and daily service, while driving profitability, growth, and a consistently outstanding customer experience. You’ll work closely with our Roastery Management team to ensure the café delivers the Silva standard every day.

Key responsibilities

- Lead daily venue operations across opening, service and closing
- Recruit, train, roster and mentor a young, enthusiastic team to consistently high standards
- Build and nurture a driven work culture centred on passion for excellence and service quality
- Drive sales, manage budgets and achieve labour and cost targets
- Monitor weekly and monthly performance reporting to track KPIs
- Manage ordering, stock rotation and wastage across food, beverage and retail
- Handle daily cash and POS reconciliation and reporting
- Deliver a seamless, exceptional customer experience consistently
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented venue at all times
- Uphold all food safety and compliance standards

About you

- Minimum 2 years proven management experience in a high-volume hospitality venue
- Strong front of house and floor management experience in specialty coffee or premium café settings
- The ambition and drive to build a venue striving for excellent standards
- Passion for and knowledge of specialty coffee and the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills to recruit, train and inspire a young, enthusiastic front of house team
- Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing team culture centred on excellence
- Understanding of budgets, labour costing, stock control and wastage management
- Confident handling of POS systems, daily reconciliation and performance reporting
- Keen understanding of profitability and sales targets
- Flexibility to work early mornings, 1 day on weekends and public holidays as a café roster demands
