Job Description

SMP Fabrication Pty Ltd, a leading structural steel and fabrication company is seeking an experienced Pressure Welder to join their growing team in Wauchope, NSW. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform pressure welding, fabrication, assembly and repair work
- Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
- Prepare, fit, align and weld components and pipework
- Inspect weld quality and undertake repairs where required
- Maintain welding records and comply with quality standards
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Skills and Qualifications

- Trade qualification (Certificate III/IV in Engineering Fabrication or similar)
- Proven experience in pressure welding
- Current welding qualifications/certifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team

Salary range is $75,000 - $90,000pa commensurate with experience. Full time Position available. Application opens on 9th of September 2026 and closes on 9th of October 2026.
