Experienced Environmental Scientist - Sunshine Coast based.

About the role

You will work alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists, contributing to environmental investigations, assessments, approvals, management plans, compliance programs, and client advisory services. The role will entail fieldwork, particularly on closed and operational landfills undertaking environmental monitoring and recording. The ideal candidate is physically and technically capable, professionally motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients while contributing positively to our team culture.

Key responsibilities

Environmental field monitoring and use of monitoring equipment.

Evaluation of environmental constraints, risks and opportunities.

Application of relevant environmental legislation, regulations, codes and guidelines.

Preparation of technical reports, management plans and monitoring programs.

Development of practical environmental management recommendations.

Data analysis, interpretation and reporting.

Client liaison and project support activities.

General project administration and office support functions as required.

About you

Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology, Soil Science, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.





Up to 5 years of relevant environmental consulting or environmental science experience.

Experience in environmental monitoring including surface water, groundwater, soil and gas.

Experience assessing environmental conditions across a range of sites and project types.

Experience preparing technical reports and environmental management documentation.

Strong written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

QLD Drivers License.

Based locally or willing to work from the Sunshine Coast office.
