We're seeking a Fraud & Disputes Officer to join a leading financial services organisation, where you'll play a key role in investigating fraudulent activity, managing customer disputes and helping strengthen fraud prevention controls across the business.

About the Role

As a Fraud & Disputes Officer, you'll be responsible for investigating customer disputes and unauthorised transactions across a range of banking products and services. You will assess fraud alerts, analyse transaction activity, engage with customers and ensure cases are managed in line with regulatory obligations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Investigating disputed and potentially fraudulent transactions
- Managing fraud alerts and customer enquiries from initial assessment through to resolution
- Reviewing transactional behaviour to identify fraud trends and emerging risks
- Escalating suspicious activity and control weaknesses where required
- Supporting compliance with industry regulations and banking obligations
- Contributing to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across fraud, risk and operations teams




- Delivering high-quality customer outcomes while meeting service level agreements and productivity targets

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong investigative mindset who enjoys problem-solving and has a genuine interest in fraud prevention and customer protection.

You'll bring:

- Previous experience in fraud operations, disputes, financial crime or banking operations
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry
- Experience managing customer investigations and case workloads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid attention to detail and analytical capabilities
- Ability to identify risks and escalating issues appropriately
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support team objectives
