As we grow our sales team, we're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative / Junior BDM to generate qualified new business opportunities. You'll work closely with our Senior BDM, learning the sales cycle from first contact through to a genuine, working relationship with a school. This is a foundational role for someone early in their sales career who wants to build real skills in technology sales and progress into a senior business development position.

What You'll Be Doing

Researching and identifying potential clients within our target industries and regions

Making outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to book new business appointments

Nurturing leads and converting initial conversations into genuine opportunities

Working with the Senior BDM to progress leads through the sales cycle

Handing over qualified opportunities for closing and account onboarding

Maintaining accurate notes, activity tracking, and pipeline management in the CRM

This role is about opening doors and starting conversations. It suits someone who enjoys connecting with people, is curious about the challenges schools and businesses face, and is motivated by results.

Who We're Looking For

Sales foundations : 1-2 years' experience in sales, telemarketing, or business development, ideally in technology, SaaS, or professional services.

Clear communication : You're comfortable on the phone, in writing, and on LinkedIn, and you follow through consistently.

Resilience and drive :



You keep going through the calls that don't land, and you notice when the effort pays off.

Curiosity: You want to understand how technology helps a business - or a school - perform better, not just sell a product.

Coachability You're organised, proactive, and want to learn from a senior sales mentor.

Skills and Experience

1-2 years' experience in sales, telemarketing, or business development

Strong communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn

Comfortable working to activity targets and reporting on progress

Proactive, organised, and able to manage a pipeline in a CRM

Advantageous

Experience in technology, SaaS, or qualified services sales

Exposure to the education sector
