CoreTemp Australia is a growing commercial and industrial building services business, servicing clients across Victoria. We specialise in HVAC, building plant and mechanical services , supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

We also work alongside and manage specialist subcontractors and trade partners , coordinating multiple services to deliver complete building solutions for our clients.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified HVAC Technician to join our growing team. You will work across a diverse range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF, ducted systems, package units, ventilation and mechanical plant throughout Victoria. This is a hands‑on role suited to a technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving complex technical problems. You will have the support, resources and time to deliver quality outcomes for our clients. For the right person,

Key Responsibilities

- Commission, service and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF and associated plant

- Diagnose breakdowns, undertake fault finding and complete quality repairs

- Perform preventative maintenance across a broad range of mechanical equipment

- Complete service reports, documentation and required paperwork accurately and on time

- Communicate professionally with clients and provide a high standard of customer service

- Support, supervise and mentor apprentices while contributing positively to the wider team

About You

You are a proactive go-getter who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions and takes genuine pride in delivering quality workmanship. You are a team player who communicates well, works professionally with clients and colleagues, and can also confidently manage your own workload.

You will ideally bring:

- Demonstrated experience as a qualified HVAC Technician across commercial and industrial environments

- Strong diagnostic, fault‑finding and repair capabilities

- Experience with a broad range of HVAC systems and mechanical plant

- VRV/VRF experience, with Daikin systems and controls experience highly regarded

- Knowledge of Full Function Fire Testing (FFFT) and associated mechanical services desirable

- SimPRO experience desirable, with training available

- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a professional team

- Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills

To be successful, you must also hold:

- Relevant HVAC trade qualification

- Refrigerant Handling Licence (RAC01)

- Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (D Licence)

- Current Victorian Driver's Licence

- White Card

- Working with Children Check

- Valid Police Check

- EWP Licence is desirable
