About the role

We are seeking a Solicitor/Conveyancer of some experience to join our team on a full-time basis at our office in North Parramatta, NSW 2151. This is a key position within our practice, where you will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive conveyancing and property law services to our diverse client base. You will manage a portfolio of property transactions, provide expert legal advice, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of our firm under the supervision of principal solicitor.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting and managing residential and commercial property conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement
- Preparing and reviewing contracts for sale, transfer documents and other legal instruments relevant to property transactions
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, local councils and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction completion
- Conducting property searches, title investigations and due diligence to identify potential legal risks or issues
- Advising clients on property-related matters including financing, tax implications, legislative requirements and contractual obligations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards throughout all transactions




- Maintaining detailed file documentation and transaction records in accordance with practice procedures
- Managing settlement processes, including financial reconciliations and post-settlement follow-up
- Providing support to junior staff members and contributing to the career development of the team

What we're looking for

- Admission as a Solicitor in New South Wales with current practising certificate
- Accreditation or eligibility as a Conveyancer in New South Wales
- Minimum of one years' post-admission experience in property law and conveyancing practice
- Demonstrated expertise in residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
- Strong knowledge of property law, land titles legislation and relevant conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Proficiency with conveyancing software and legal practice management systems
- The ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
- A client-focused approach with commitment to delivering exceptional service standards
- Professional integrity and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in legal practice
