About the role

As the Information Governance Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting how information is managed, protected and accessed across TAFE Gippsland. Working as part of the Governance, Risk and Business Improvement team, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen information governance practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will:

Help shape and improve information governance practices across the organisation

Provide trusted advice and support to stakeholders on information and records management matters

Contribute to projects that strengthen compliance, information security and organisational capability

Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working

Build strong relationships with stakeholders while promoting best practice information management

Play an important role in ensuring information is reliable, accessible and appropriately managed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience in information governance, records management, compliance or a related discipline

The ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical outcomes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A passion for continuous improvement and organisational effectiveness

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

Confidence working with digital systems and modern information management practices

A proactive,
