Lead a kitchen in the heart of Surfers Paradise!

The Clock Hotel is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our bistro-style restaurant in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on chef who enjoys leading a team, creating great food and being part of a fun and energetic hospitality environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef
- Can confidently lead and manage a team of up to 10 chefs and cooks
- Is an excellent communicator and team leader
- Has strong staff management and organisational skills
- Enjoys training and developing apprentices and junior chefs
- Has experience with cocktail functions and events




- Is experienced in high-volume cooking and service
- Has experience with ordering, stock control and stocktaking
- Has a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Is positive, energetic and enjoys having fun at work
- Wants to enjoy the fantastic lifestyle the Gold Coast has to offer!
