What you’ll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will play a vital role in supporting positive patient outcomes while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

Deliver safe,



efficient and evidence-based patient care that meets individual needs

Assess, monitor and respond effectively to changing patient conditions throughout the care journey

Collaborate with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate care

Provide clinical guidance, mentoring and supervision to nursing staff and students as required

Advocate for patients, manage resources effectively and maintain transparent, accurate clinical documentation

This role requires the capability to perform duties involving lead apron use in accordance with the NSW Nurses and Midwives Award.

Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)





Significant post graduate experience in an acute hospital. Recent experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative Services (Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU & DPU) nursing preferable.

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work

Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal

Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team

Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues

Experience with Provation or SurgiNet IT applications preferable
