Experienced Architectural Draftsperson - Revit

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson with strong Revit skills to join a well-established, multi-award-winning residential design studio located in Melbourne’s Inner South East.

With more than 20 years in the industry, our studio has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential design and documentation. We pride ourselves on producing considered, highly resolved projects supported by a collaborative and professional studio environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced and technically capable Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of residential projects, with a significant focus on projects for one of our major long-term stakeholders specialising in innovative and specialist housing solutions all over Australia.

This established relationship provides a strong and consistent pipeline of ongoing work and presents an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to become closely involved in an important and growing area of our business.

Importantly, this is not simply a production drafting role.

While strong Revit and residential documentation skills are essential,



we are looking for someone who wants to take greater ownership of their projects and develop beyond traditional drafting responsibilities.

As you establish yourself within the role, you will have the chance to manage projects from documentation through to delivery, communicate directly with clients and key stakeholders, coordinate external consultants, resolve technical and construction matters, and become increasingly involved in the overall management of projects.

For the right person, there is genuine prospect to progress within the role and the studio, taking on greater responsibility, autonomy and project involvement over time.

We value people who take pride in producing accurate, considered and highly resolved documentation, have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of delivering quality work within project timeframes.

Equally, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working collaboratively and is interested in developing their client liaison, consultant coordination and project management capabilities.

Please note: Applicants must have appropriate Australian working rights. Previous experience working within the Australian residential design and construction industry is strongly preferred.
