About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical and personal care to clients in accordance with best practice, legislative requirements, and the Organisation's values and policies. The RN ensures safe, responsive, and effective care that meets the assessed needs, goals, and preferences of each client, while overseeing and supporting the work of care staff and ensuring a calm, clean, and respectful environment.

Key responsibilities

- Provide direct clinical care, including wound care, non-packed medication administration, catheter care, pain management, palliative and end-of-life care, and chronic disease support
- Oversee the delivery of personal care by support workers—such as hygiene, grooming, mobility assistance, continence care, and nutrition/hydration—ensuring care is safe, respectful,



and aligned with each client's needs
- Monitor clients' conditions, ensuring timely recognition and response to any deterioration or changes in mental, cognitive, or physical health
- Implement and evaluate individualised care plans based on comprehensive assessments and in consultation with clients, families, and healthcare providers
- Identify and manage high-impact or high-prevalence clinical risks, including pressure injuries, falls, infections, malnutrition, pain, and medication safety
- Supervise, support, and mentor support workers to ensure competent, compassionate, and person-centred care delivery

About you

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Professional Registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical competence and experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical risk management
- Solid leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
