Temora & District Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, with an immediate start. This is an opportunity to deliver care in a regional birthing service, supporting mothers and families in the Temora community in NSW. Contract position, 6 to 12 weeks duration, starting as soon as possible
Hands-on birthing experience in a regional maternity service
Based in Temora, NSW, serving a close-knit community
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour care
Ability to work flexibly within a small maternity team
Solid communication skills and a team-oriented approach to care
Commitment to evidence-based midwifery practice
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current CPR and emergency skills certification
Experience working in regional or rural healthcare settings is advantageous
