Architect (2-5 years experience) — Train to Lead

SheltaCo is a lean, principal-delivered architecture practice working across residential, government and commercial projects throughout South East Queensland. ISO 9001/14001 certified, PQC prequalified, with live commissions across Queensland Police, Queensland Fire, Metro South Health, Queensland Health and Sunshine Coast Council. This role offers real ownership of projects, from client conversations through documentation to delivery, working directly alongside the Principal Architect. You will learn how a practice actually runs commercially: fee scoping, client relationships, project economics.

About you

- 2 to 5 years' architectural experience
- Genuine self-motivation,

- Real ambition: registration, running your own projects, eventually your own practice
- The maturity to understand that reward follows contribution, not tenure
- $75k to $95k plus super, depending on experience
- Direct mentorship from a principal who built this practice from scratch, with 20 years' multinational experience
- A genuine path to more, shaped by what you bring, not a script you follow
- Real project ownership, not busywork
