The Lakes Estate Retirement Village – Taylors Lakes VIC

Key responsibilities

- Assessment of residents' care needs
- Resourcing a diverse range of services for residents
- Attend to wellbeing checks for residents who are unwell with an illness
- Assist the village visiting doctor on weekly basis
- Assist with implementing social activity programs for residents
- Support the Village social group in the design and delivery of the monthly activity and events calendar
- Work with residents to help them develop and maintain a resident wellbeing plan including connection to appropriate aged care programs
- Manage partnerships with selected home aged care providers, including consistent meetings and education sessions for residents
- Monitor resident clinical/wellbeing decline incidents and manage relationships with their families to ensure residents get the care and access to services they need
- Maintain all resident wellbeing database information including Power of Attorney, Wellbeing decline communication and Resident wellbeing plan

About you

- Customer Service background in a service industry (Wellbeing, aged care, hospitality or sales)




- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and keep residents at the center of everything
- Strong administration skills and experience in a structured operating environment
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
- Understanding of and commitment to operational risk requirements, including risk assessments
- High level of initiative, adaptability and flexibility
- Warm, responsive and passionate about excellent service
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functioning teams
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain upon appointment)
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
