The role of the emergency nurse is diverse and dynamic, providing consumer-centred, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide protected, high-quality and consumer-centred nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Undertake clinical assessment, prioritisation and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of acute health needs.
What you need
- Development of advanced clinical knowledge and skills required to care for patients with complex and critical presentations.
- Registered Nurse with minimum of 12 months emergency nursing experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure.
