Workshop Leading Hand / Industrial Blaster Painter - About the Role:

MPV Sandblasting and Coating Services is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Workshop Leading Hand / Industrial Blaster Painter to join our Gladstone workshop team.

This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example while remaining actively involved in surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and industrial painting. Working closely with management, you will coordinate daily workshop activiities, support team members, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently,



and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate day-to-day workshop activities.
- Perform abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial coating application.
- Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are maintained.
- Complete inspections, job documentation, and equipment pre-starts.
- Support and mentor workshop personnel.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' Industrial Painting and blasting experience.
- Previous Leading Hand or Supervisory experience.
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card.
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application highly regarded.
- Robust leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Reliable, safety-focused and committed to quality workmanship.
