Maintenance Electrician | Permanent Night Shift | $60/hr + Penalties

Our client is looking for an experienced A-Grade Maintenance Electrician to join their permanent maintenance team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Broadmeadows.

This is a dedicated night-shift position, working 6:00pm to 6:00am, with a strong hourly rate and applicable shift and weekend penalties.

The role

You’ll be responsible for keeping production machinery running safely and reliably, including:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Troubleshooting production machinery
- Electrical control systems
- Planned maintenance and inspectionsMachinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Working with Production to minimise downtime




- Completing maintenance records and documentation

What you need

- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence – essential
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician
- Manufacturing, industrial or production maintenance experience
- Solid electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Food manufacturing experience is not essential.
