The Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join the team, focusing on the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of trucks and trailers. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to buy into a reputable industry brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.




- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Perform engine overhauls, brake repairs, and suspension work.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards.Mentor and provide technical support to apprentices as required.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns using the field service unit when needed.

What We Are Looking For

- Trade Qualified: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Experienced: Solid background in heavy vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
- Professional: High standards regarding attendance, punctuality, and efficiency.
- Safety-Minded: Strict adherence to WHS policies and roadworthy compliance.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Licensed: Current driver's licence (HR or higher is highly desirable).
