Syngenta is seeking a commercially minded Territory Sales Manager to be based in Horsham, Victoria to drive profitable growth across the Western Districts region. In this field-based role, you will partner with retailers, advisers, agronomists and growers to deliver practical crop-protection solutions. You will combine key-account management, consultative selling, new-product launches and market insight to strengthen Syngenta's position as a trusted partner to Australian agriculture.

You will execute go-to-market strategies across your territory, introduce innovative products and services, and create simpler, more effective customer interactions. Working closely with colleagues in Sales, Business Development, Operations, Technical Services, Marketing and Finance, you will turn customer needs into timely, practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Build and deliver proactive territory and key-account business plans.
- Develop joint forecasts, market-share objectives and recent-product-penetration targets with customers.
- Grow sales through strong relationships, disciplined territory planning and customer-focused execution.




- Support product launches, local demonstrations and agronomic solutions.
- Maintain high standards of customer agency procedures and product and service management.
- Share practical tools, insights and best practice across the broader team.

About you

- Demonstrated sales success in agriculture or a closely related industry, including key-account management and territory planning.
- Strong agronomy knowledge, including crop-protection products and agricultural market dynamics.
- A relevant bachelor's degree or at least five years' relevant professional experience.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using digital and CRM systems, including Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office.A current driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
- The ability to work independently from a home office, with one day per week expected.
