Unison Solar Energy is building its capabilities in Australian solar manufacturing and is seeking an experienced Material Control Specialist to support our growing operations.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate supply of materials to meet production and business requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll help optimise material availability, improve inventory performance and proactively address supply risks.

This is an opportunity to strengthen material control processes, optimise inventory and drive continuous improvement while supporting the growth of Australian solar manufacturing.

Material Planning: Manage material requirements planning to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support production.

Inventory Optimisation: Monitor inventory, material usage and supply performance to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise excess and obsolete materials.

Supply & Improvement: Identify supply risks, resolve material issues and drive improvements across SAP, planning processes and material control

Responsibilities

- Develop and monitorMaterial Requirements Planning(MRP) to ensurematerials are availablewhen required tosupport production andbusiness demand.
- Monitor inventory levels, material usage andconsumption trends tooptimise stock levels, improve inventory turnoverand minimisecarrying costs.
- Maintain accurate materialmaster data, planningparameters and transactions to supportreliable and effectivematerial planning.
- Develop and maintainmaterial control reportsand performance metricscovering inventory, shortages, overdue orders, supply risks andmaterial utilisation.
- Investigate material shortages, delays,



planning discrepanciesand supply anomalies, coordinating with relevantstakeholders to achievetimely resolution.
- Identify and implement improvements to material planning, inventory management and control processes to enhance planning accuracy, operational efficiency and inventory performance.
- Monitor material supply and supplier commitments, identifying and addressing shortages, delays and supply risks to maintain reliable supply and compliance.

What you will bring

- 2–3 years’ experiencein material control, supply chain,logistics or arelated role, withdemonstratedSAP experience.
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the abilityto interpret MRPoutputs, inventory dataand supply requirements.
- Excellentcommunication and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the abilityto build effectiveworking relationships acrossdiverse teams.
- A proactive andadaptable approach toidentifying supply risks, resolving issues anddriving continuous improvement.
- Strong attention todetail and acommitment todata accuracy, processcompliance and reliableplanning outcomes.
