Additional information
- This role is temporary, full-time 76 hours/fortnight. Temporary contract finishes in March 2027.
- The location for the role is Service Office, Tempe NSW, with a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.
- You must have the availability to work a Monday to Friday.
About this work area
As People & Culture Generalist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of People & Culture processes and activities to ensure a positive and seamless co-worker experience across the business.
- Executing operational People tasks related to the co-worker lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
- Acting as a key support contact for co-workers and leaders, responding to People & Culture, timekeeping and payroll-related enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Administering key people processes including parental leave, mandatory learning requirements, employment changes and other People & Culture administration activities.
- Delivering and coordinating learning and training activities at unit level, including scheduling, administration and record maintenance.
- Coordinating and administering Workers Compensation and other people-related case management activities in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and support to leaders and co-workers on People & Culture policies, procedures and systems.
- Maintaining accurate people data, reporting and documentation while ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Supporting the implementation of People & Culture initiatives and projects that contribute to an inclusive,
engaging and positive workplace culture.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve ways of working and enhance the co-worker experience.

- Passionate about people and delivering a high-quality co-worker experience through exceptional service and support.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where operational excellence, confidentiality and compliance are essential.
- A robust relationship builder who collaborates effectively with leaders, co-workers and stakeholders across the business.
- Confident using systems, maintaining records and managing administrative processes with a strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the flexibility to support a broad range of People & Culture activities.
- Curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing your People & Culture knowledge and capability.
- Experience in Human Resources or a similar role supporting people processes across the employee lifecycle is highly regarded. A degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential. We are open to candidates who bring relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in building their career within People & Culture.
- Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and provide support on sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
