Account Manager / Pharmacy Sales Representative (Full-Time or Part-Time)

An established healthcare company is looking for an experienced Account Manager / Pharmacy Sales Representative to manage and grow their pharmacy business across Sydney.

This position offers the flexibility of being either Permanent Full time or Part-Time, depending on the right candidate.

Position Overview

The role involves selling a range of healthcare products, managing existing pharmacy accounts, developing new business, introducing new products and building relationships with pharmacy owners, pharmacists, pharmacy buyers and established buying groups. This is a target-driven sales position. We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage their own territory and consistently deliver sales results.

About You

- You will ideally have experience in the pharmacy trade and pharmaceutical or healthcare sales. Previous pharmacy sales experience and established industry contacts will be highly regarded and will be a significant advantage in securing the position.

Your main responsibilities and duties

- Managing and growing an established Sydney pharmacy territory




- Increasing sales and product distribution across existing and new pharmacy accounts
- Developing new business opportunities and customer relationships
- Preparing and presenting products and ranging opportunities to pharmacies, buying groups, and wholesalers
- Providing product information and training to pharmacy staff where required
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activity
- Maintaining regular customer contact and managing your own call cycle
- Reporting sales activity and results to management

Your experience, skill set and qualifications

- Previous experience in the pharmacy trade and pharmaceutical or healthcare sales
- Proven ability to generate sales and achieve targets
- Can develop new business as well as manage existing accounts
- Established relationships and contacts within the pharmacy industry (highly regarded)
- Confidence dealing with pharmacy owners, pharmacists, and purchasing decision-makers
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Understanding of the Australian pharmacy market
- Good computer skills and a sound financial and commercial understanding

Salary Range

Attractive base salary + commission + car allowance, dependent on experience level
