Job Description

Durable Concrete Coatings is an established Australian owned company specialising in high performance concrete coating systems and epoxy supplies. We are known for our product quality, technical expertise, and strong customer relationships across both trade and retail markets.

We are seeking a reliable and self‑driven individual to run daily store and warehouse operations at our Sydney location in Smithfield. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, engaging customers, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the store.

Position: Store Manager – Trade Sales & Warehouse

Location: Smithfield, Sydney
Role: Full time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role

This is a hands‑on role where you will handle day to day store and warehouse operations while supporting sales and customer engagement. You will work independently for periods of time and are expected to take initiative in maintaining performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Run day to day store and warehouse operations independently
- Deliver professional customer service in store and over the phone
- Prepare and process trade and retail orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle receiving,



dispatch, and stock control activities
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the POS system
- Follow up customer enquiries and support repeat business
- Identify opportunities to improve store operations, efficiency, and customer experience
- Support business growth through customer engagement and relationship building
- Perform store opening and closing procedures

What We Are Looking For

- Strong self‑management, initiative, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily tasks
- Confident communication skills with both trade and retail customers
- Practical problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
- Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Physical capability to perform warehouse duties
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with POS systems
- A genuine interest in customer service and sales

Requirements

- Driver’s licence required
- Forklift licence preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in trade retail, warehouse, or customer facing roles preferred
- Must be available for full time work and able to attend the Smithfield location Monday to Friday
