About the Role

Due to continued growth across our operations, we are currently seeking an experienced Fire Service Tester to join our team.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who has experience within the fire protection industry and is confident carrying out routine testing, servicing and inspection of essential fire safety measures.

The successful applicant will work across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout Sydney and will be responsible for ensuring fire protection systems are tested, serviced, maintained and reported in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, legislation,



manufacturer requirements and customer requirements.

You will be working both independently and as part of the All Aussie Fire team, with direct interaction with clients, building managers, strata managers, contractors and other site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Routine testing, inspection and servicing of essential fire safety measures

- Identifying defects, faults, maintenance requirements and compliance issues

- Completing service reports and accurately recording test results

- Ensuring defects are clearly documented

- Carrying out minor repairs and rectification works where appropriately qualified

- Liaising professionally with clients, building managers, strata managers and site representatives

- Completing required site documentation, inductions and paperwork

- Using mobile technology to complete service reports, time sheets and other documentation

- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition

- Assisting with emergency and after hours call outs as required

- Participating in an on call roster

- Maintaining a professional appearance and representing All Aussie Fire positively on customer sites

- Identifying opportunities for additional maintenance or rectification works

- Working in accordance with All Aussie Fire's policies, procedures and WHS requirements

Fire Safety Measures

Depending on your experience and qualifications, you will be involved in the testing and servicing of some or all of the following:

- Sprinkler Systems

- Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

- Emergency Warning & Intercommunication Systems (EWIS)

- Building Occupant Warning Systems (BOWS)

- Fire Hydrant Systems

- Fire Hose Reels

- Portable Fire Extinguishers & Fire Blankets

- Fire Booster Systems and Pumps

- Fire & Smoke Doors

- Passive Fire Protection Systems

- Emergency Exit & Exit Lighting Systems

- Other essential fire safety measures

About You





We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that fire protection is an essential service where attention to detail and getting the job right matters.

You will ideally have:

- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar fire protection/testing role

- Sound knowledge of fire protection systems and routine testing requirements

- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A skilled and customer-focused approach

- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

- Good time management and organisational skills

- A willingness to learn and develop your skills

- An understanding of and commitment to WHS/OH&S; requirements

- The ability and willingness to complete site inductions, service reports, emails, timesheets and other documentation using an iPhone, Android or tablet

- A current driver's licence

- The ability and willingness to participate in an on-call roster

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

- Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) accreditation

- FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) accreditation

- Experience with Uptick or similar fire compliance/service management software

- Experience working across multiple essential fire safety measures

- Experience with fire safety certification and compliance requirements

- Experience identifying and reporting defects and recommending rectification works
