The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for growing market share and ensuring the sales process is followed. This is a hands‑on business development role. You will be expected to actively prospect, identify new opportunities, develop relationships with end users and resellers, and grow sales within your allocated markets. This role will suit someone who enjoys being on the road, opening doors and developing recent accounts. The sales representative is expected to be available for regular travel throughout their territory, ensuring proactive engagement with customers and opportunities for new business. The role requires providing excellence in customer service during the sales process and provision of after sales support.

Key responsibilities

- Assist prospective customers with solutions from the range of equipment
- Grow allocated markets and support the company's strategic plan
- Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, and complete order entry following the established process




- Demonstrate the range of equipment on and off site to prospective customers
- Travel regularly to visit prospective customers and reseller businesses to establish and identify new selling opportunities
- Assess prospective customers' needs and recommend the best suited equipment to meet their needs
- Arrange delivery of machines and handover to customers on site when required
- Attend industry Field Days Australia wide as required
- Prepare sales reports, maintain and submit business expenses incurred following the established process

About you

- Ability to work well with external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel across Australia on average 10 days per month
- High customer service focus
- Experience in the field or similar roles
- Technical ability and understanding of machinery or agricultural equipment and markets (ideal)
