Salary from: Stream A Level 4.1 ($89k) + superannuation

Join Logan City Council in this dynamic role supporting the delivery and operation of the Logan Safety Camera Program. As a Technical and Program Officer , you will play a key role in coordinating CCTV and surveillance projects, supporting Monitoring Room operations, managing mobile and covert camera deployments, and ensuring the ongoing reliability of safety camera infrastructure across the City.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, Queensland Police Service (QPS), contractors, and monitoring personnel, you will contribute to project delivery, technical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines project coordination, operational support, asset management, and monitoring room functions in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Position responsibilities include:

- Coordinate the delivery, maintenance and deployment of CCTV and safety camera assets.
- Support Monitoring Room operations, including incident management, footage review and alarm monitoring.
- Manage mobile, covert and temporary camera deployments across the network.
- Monitor project progress, maintain documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with stakeholders including Queensland Police Service, contractors and Council teams.
- Respond to technical issues, stakeholder enquiries and privacy-related matters.

Key indicators for success:

- Experience in CCTV, surveillance, security operations or project coordination.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement.
- Proactive problem-solver with robust attention to detail.




- Comfortable working in a technical and operational environment.
- On-call and outside of normal working hours flexibility is required.

Requirements:
