About the Role

The Anteo Tail Lift Installer is responsible for the professional installation, modification and fabrication of the full Anteo tail lift product range, including cantilever, tuckaway, retractable, column and panel van lifts across a variety of commercial vehicle configurations. This role requires a high standard of trade workmanship, fabrication capability and the ability to work accurately and safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Day-to-day, you will:

- Install the full range of Anteo aluminium tail lift products, including cantilever, tuckaway, retractable, column and panel van types, to manufacturer specifications




- Prepare vehicles for tail lift fitment - including measurement, marking, cutting and structural reinforcement of subframes - and fit and connect all hydraulic, electrical and mechanical components
- Fabricate and weld metal components to build and modify vehicle body structures, and read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to complete custom or non-standard installation requirements
- Complete structural modifications, including subframe extensions and body alterations in accordance with VSB6
- Commission installed units and conduct operational function testing before handover, and complete all relevant installation documentation and quality sign-off

Hours:

TRS Wetherill Park is open from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and from 7:00am to 11:00am on Saturdays. Normal hours of work are 7.5 hours per day.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication experience, including MIG/TIG welding, cutting and metalwork, and a proven ability to read and interpret engineering and installation drawings
- Demonstrated experience installing commercial vehicle accessories
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
