The Role
n
We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of Island Radio and help lead a team that takes pride in delivering excellent, unpretentious hospitality. You'll work closely with the leadership team across floor operations, team development, reservations, and the guest experience.
n
This is a role for someone who's already found their feet in hospitality leadership and is ready for the next step.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Leading service on the floor and setting the standard for the team
n
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of floor staff
n
Managing reservations and pre-service briefings in collaboration with the team
n
Overseeing opening and closing procedures
n
Handling guest feedback in the moment
n
Assisting with rostering, labour management, and daily reporting
n
Supporting compliance across RSA, food safety,



and OH&S;
n
Contributing to a positive team culture that people actually want to be part of
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Proven experience in a similar front-of-house leadership role
n
Robust communication skills and a natural ability to read the room
n
Genuine enthusiasm for food, drinks, and hospitality
n
Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and consistent
n
Solid knowledge of SevenRooms or similar reservations platforms (desirable)
n
Current RSA certificate
n
