Smeaton Grange, New South Wales Full-Time | Permanent Australian-based & New Zealand candidates welcome

An established transport business based in Smeaton Grange, NSW is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified Diesel Mechanic with solid experience working on heavy road vehicles and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.

THE ROLE

- Servicing and maintaining heavy road vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs
- Preventative maintenance and inspections
- Mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Component repairs and replacement
- Keeping vehicles safe, reliable and operational
- Working to required safety and maintenance standards
- Working as part of an experienced team

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with:

- Strong Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic experience
- Experience working on trucks or heavy road vehicles




- Good mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Strong preventative maintenance knowledge
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Valuable safety awareness
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with heavy commercial vehicles, trucks or transport fleets will be highly regarded.
