About the role

Lead day-to-day operations and practice for Onwards Outreach in Newcastle. Supervise two professionals and work with partners to reduce harm, strengthen family support and improve wellbeing. Permanent part-time: four days or five shorter days, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead supervision, support and practice direction for two professionals.
- Manage intake, assessment, triage and clinical case management.
- Deliver evidence-based AOD, psychosocial and parenting interventions.
- Monitor outcomes, reporting,



quality assurance and clinical governance.
- Build referral pathways with internal and external partners.

Skills & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or a related discipline.
- Current or eligible registration with the relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- AOD assessment/counselling and family or parenting support experience.
- Solid knowledge of clinical governance, trauma-informed practice and recovery-oriented approaches.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.
- Highly developed assessment, care planning and case management skills.
- Current unrestricted drivers license and own vehicle (business travel reimbursed).

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
