MEETWORLD Our Client SNG VENTURES PTY LTD is looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager for their busy Greek restaurant. Located in Cairns-QLD,4870.

As our Restaurant manager you will be responsible for creating and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for guests, while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and kitchen operations.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain a strong operational presence across all meal serving periods to ensure service standards and the guest experience remain at an optimum; Supervision, rostering, recruitment, training and coordination of food and beverage employees; Monitoring staff rosters, performance and resolving any grievances; Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests; Plan menu consulting with main chef; Monitoring sales,



costs and profitability against business targets; Checking stock levels, ordering supplies, and implementing monthly stocktakes; Practicing proper workplace health and safety procedures.

Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner. Promote the employer's services and facilities to the customers when appropriate. Assist in maintaining customer services standards set by the employer. Ensure that work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness and Organising the cleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment. Ensure that customers are served in a qualified and diligent manner. Drive profitability by closely managing labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, menu engineering, purchasing decisions and stock control. Handling guest feedback professionally and proactively, and building strong ties within the local community.

Qualification & Experience

Proven 1 year experience in restaurant management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure.
