Asset Management, Business Development & Sales

Join Macquarie Asset Management in our Client Solutions Group, specifically the Wealth Distribution team, as a Business Development / Internal Sales Associate driving current business across New South Wales.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

This role is primarily phone-based and offers the opportunity to develop strong relationships within the financial adviser community while building a foundation for a long-term career in sales. You will proactively engage with financial advisers and licensed representatives across New South Wales, promoting Macquarie Asset Management's investment capabilities and generating meetings for Business Development Managers (BDMs). Through consistent outreach, relationship building and ongoing client engagement, you will develop your own pipeline of adviser relationships and, over time, expand your sales activity as your product knowledge, experience and track record grow.

You will support the broader sales strategy by servicing existing adviser relationships, conducting follow-up calls to maintain engagement between BDM visits, and managing post-meeting and event communications. Working closely with BDMs, Marketing and fellow Sales Associates, you will coordinate adviser attendance at events, assist with event preparation and material distribution, and contribute to sales activity across multiple regions.

You will also maintain accurate records within the contact management system, ensuring all calls, meetings and correspondence are captured to support future engagement, while providing ad hoc support to the team in achieving its sales and growth objectives.
