Cafe Partnerships Lead | Coffee & Hospitality

We're looking for an experienced café professional ready to take the next step beyond the bar.

This role requires strong professional barista experience. If you haven't worked extensively behind the bar in specialty coffee, this probably isn't the role for you.

You might currently be a Head Barista, Café Manager, Coffee Trainer or experienced barista who's great with people and wants more ownership, autonomy and commercial experience.

You'll still be hands-on with coffee every week—but you'll also take ownership of café relationships, grow a portfolio of partners and help develop current business for Black Market.

Key responsibilities

Coffee and product deliveries

Dispatch

Preventative maintenance

Machine and grinder troubleshooting

Calibration and recipe support

Building genuine relationships with owners and their teams

Meeting owners and starting conversations to bring new cafés into Black Market

About you

Strong espresso calibration and recipe skills





Confident milk texturing and latte art

Experience with commercial espresso machines and grinders

Comfortable jumping behind the bar in a busy café

Strong communication and relationship skills

Commercial curiosity and confidence meeting café owners

Sales experience is welcome, but not essential. Deep café and coffee experience is.
