One of the biggest challenges for recent graduate Speech Pathologists is finding the right balance between independence and support.

While plenty of Speech Pathology roles are heavily community-based, this position gives you the opportunity to spend the majority of your week working alongside other clinicians in a clinic workplace.

A typical week can look like:

- 3 days working from clinic

- 1 day completing local community visits

- 1 day working from home

- Car allowance provided for community-based work

You’ll have senior clinicians around you to ask questions, discuss cases and continue developing your clinical confidence.

Caseload

The primary caseload is paediatric , working with children across a range of presentations and developmental needs.

Depending on your interests, there is also scope to work with adult clients and gradually build experience across different areas of Speech Pathology.

The team wants clinicians to develop in areas they genuinely enjoy,



rather than simply being handed a generic caseload.

You’ll be joining a genuine multidisciplinary environment and working alongside other allied health professionals.

For a graduate or junior clinician, this means having people around you to learn from rather than trying to figure everything out independently.

The organisation has experienced senior clinicians within the team who can provide guidance, mentoring and clinical support as you develop.
