Key responsibilities

Design and deliver an exceptional programme of learning that follows the Steiner curriculum and is contextualised to Aurora and NSW

Create a warm and inclusive learning environment where children flourish physically, socially/emotionally and academically

Integrate academic, artistic and practical learning in rhythmically rejuvenating and creative ways to ensure balanced learning and to foster wellbeing

Implement diverse and effective teaching strategies to meet the full range of children's educational needs

Assess and monitor student progress and development, and work closely with students, colleagues and parents to achieve excellent educational outcomes for each child

Plan and organise class and community events to expand student learning and to build meaningful connections and the experience of belonging

Maintain attendance records and teaching and learning documentation, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assessment data

Work closely with the Learning Support Team, teacher assistants, families, external agencies/professionals to design and implement differentiated learning plans and goals

Engage in professional learning that deepens an understanding of Steiner Education,



as well as current advancements in approaches to teaching and learning
