Remuneration: $81,748.17 - $114,771.98 per annum

What you'll be doing

As a Registered Nurse within the Cardiothoracic Unit, you will provide person‑centred,



evidence‑informed nursing care that promotes positive patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care throughout the patient journey.

In this role you will:

- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients with complex cardiothoracic conditions
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence-based clinical practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Support and guide Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, students and colleagues
- Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and continuous service enhancement

Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

- Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
- Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
