What you'll be doing

As a Registered Nurse within the Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with complex haematological conditions and transplant needs. Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team,



you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes while developing advanced clinical expertise.

In this role you will:

- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care that meets the needs of patients and their families
- Assess, monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Provide supervision, support and mentoring to staff and students where appropriate
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient safety and continuous service excellence

Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
