This is a part-time or casual position, with flexible hours for the right candidate. You will provide skilled and friendly customer service, dispense prescription eyewear, and assist customers with frame and lens selection.

Key responsibilities

Providing qualified and friendly customer service
n
Dispensing prescription eyewear and assisting customers with frame and lens selection
n
Taking accurate measurements and interpreting optical prescriptions
n
Adjusting, fitting and repairing spectacles
n
Assisting with frame and lens product recommendations
n
Processing orders and liaising with optical laboratories and suppliers
n
Maintaining a high standard of store presentation and cleaning
n
Supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice
n
Building solid and lasting relationships with our customers
n
About you




n
Holds a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing – essential
n
Has experience working in an optical practice or retail environment
n
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Is confident with spectacle dispensing, measurements and frame adjustments
n
Is reliable, skilled and well presented
n
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a small team
n
Can work independently and take initiative
n
Is passionate about providing a high level of patient care
