Working alongside the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager will help lead daily restaurant service and maintain consistently high standards across the front-of-house operation. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on service execution, team development, guest satisfaction and effective shift management.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant services, ensuring each shift runs smoothly and professionally

Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the restaurant floor

Deliver warm, knowledgeable and attentive guest service

Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the front-of-house operation

Brief, direct and motivate the team before and throughout service

Train, coach and develop front-of-house employees

Help maintain service standards, procedures and a positive workplace culture

Assist with staff rostering, performance management and recruitment as required

Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues confidently and professionally

Coordinate with the kitchen and management teams to ensure effective communication during service

About you





Proven management or senior supervisory experience in a quality, high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills

Excellent food, beverage and general wine knowledge

A genuine commitment to hospitality and guest experience

The ability to organise and lead a team through busy services

Robust attention to detail and professional presentation

Confidence handling guest feedback and solving operational problems

Sound computer literacy and administrative skills

Experience supporting staff training and development

A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
